Daniel Dean serves as Royce General Contracting LLC's President, Founder and Owner. He brings over 17 year’s of field experience in the construction industry. Danny was born in New Jersey and attended Passaic County Technical Highschool. There he completed four years of plumbing and heating training. He started field work in the industry at the age of 16. He worked for plumbing and heating contractors throughout New Jersey and New York. He served in the US Army National Guard from 2010 to 2018. In that time, he started a family and worked his way up to the role of Superintendent at Shaw and Son's in Costa Mesa, CA. He’s since moved on and has successfully formed and operated his own business since 2020. He's contracted and completed work for small businesses, residential clients and fortune 500 companies. He is a leader in the construction industry. Danny is a member of the Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce, and holds many certifications, including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Boom Forklift, OSHA Certified in Earth Moving Loaders/Excavators, and successfully completed the Carpenter's Union Apprenticeship Program. He makes it a priority to focus on supplier, trade partner relationships and project/client satisfaction while diligently working to complete current projects. Whether the project is big or small, for a residential homeowner or a large commercial client, Danny knows that every project is important and unique and deserves thoughtful and considerate attention. He counts on his trusted, skilled and elite team to pay attention to every detail from start to finish. He’s very hands-on in the day to day business, and has formed many important and lasting relationships with people in the trades. He has extensive knowledge in the field and always takes the time in the office to help his staff and team learn more, grow more, and soar to success. He is a forward thinker and respected in the industry. He is known to always follow the rules by the book and is highly respected for that. He holds his General-B license with the CSLB as well as his C-8. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, camping, and fishing with his wife of 10 years, 2 kids and dog Pete. He is also an avid enduro motorcycle enthusiast.
Cindy Rangel serves as Office Administrator, gate keeper, and customer service extraordinaire. For the past 28 years, her experience has been in the Real Estate, Mortgage and HOA industries, cultivating success for homeowners and providing elite marketing services to all sales staff. She brings a broad skillset to the table inclusive of marketing, project management, social media, graphics design, SEO, HR, all AP and AR, extensive knowledge of Mechanic's Liens and Lien Releases, billing, client prequals, and elite customer satisfaction. She’s helped onboard hundreds of staff and dozens of new branches at her last company, where she worked as a marketing manager providing support to 150 Loan Officers at once, completing her tenure at 8 years total. She has previous experience in the construction industry, working at a Plumbing contractor in Foothill Ranch, CA. At Royce General Contracting LLC, she is responsible for all AP, AR, Administration, assistant to the President and providing thoughtful and flawless Client and vendor success. Cindy has her OSHA-30. Lifetime accomplishments include completing a marathon in 2001 and raising $7,700 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as well as completing a half marathon the same year. Cindy is a Laguna Hills native and enjoys working in the city of Laguna Hills to support the community. Cindy has a 14 year old teen and 1 dog at home. She enjoys vacationing in Hawaii, Santa Barbara and San Diego in her free time.
Trevor is a key asset and our critical thinker at Royce General Contracting LLC. He serves as our Sr Project Manager/Estimator in the day to day oversight of bids and projects. Trevor received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Cal Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He has a decade of experience working as a Project Engineer managing, RFI’s, Change Orders, Project schedules, in-field measurements and proposals. He excels in reviewing permitted drawings and blue prints, and managing all take-offs. He has a proven track record in providing process efficiency and attention to detail. He’s experienced in managing installed materials to ensure compliance with drawings and specs. He is a true professional with excellent communication, coordination and strategies to bring each project success. He has a deep understanding of construction means and methods, plan reading and specification referencing. Trevor is a go-getter with a positive attitude and an emphasis on safety. His analytical thinking, and diligent methods and strategies overseeing projects have shown proven success. Trevor is brilliant at his job and is highly motivated. His years of training, education and industry work and knowledge are an asset to the Royce General Contracting, LLC team. Trevor resides in Oceanside, enjoys visiting family in Montana, traveling all over the world, and excels at rock climbing in his spare time.
Daniel Dean (Senior) is Royce General Contracting LLC’s Senior Project Manager/Estimator. He brings over thirty years of project management experience to the team, most recently working with Scholes Electric and Communications as a Senior Project Manager. Prior to Scholes, Daniel served as the Vice President of Operations at Integrated Micro Systems performing work for schools, hospitals and various commercial clients. He has a proven track record of running large scale projects efficiently based on his industry knowledge, field experience and project management skills. Daniel attributes much of his success to building lasting partnerships with architects, clients, contractors, and vendors. His experience of work includes projects for State Street Bank, Goldman Sachs, American Dream Mall, RWJ Barnabas Health, Hackensack Meridan Health, and Johnson & Johnson. Daniel holds OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications, as well as Telecommunication Manufacture and BICSI Training. Daniel is a retired IBEW member of 23 years. Daniel resides in New Jersey with his wife and children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, riding motorcycles and hiking.
Huestin is our Assistant Project Manager. He takes the lead on all subcontractor estimates, bidding and product procurement. He maintains relationships with our suppliers and subs to ensure we are getting the best prices for materials and work on our projects. He also ensures flow and consistency on all our projects, handling change orders, system databases, project files and vendor relationships. He excels at staying focused and motivated and on task. He's a key asset to the team at Royce General Contracting, LLC. Prior experience includes working as a Construction Manager and a Foreman. He studied at Colorado State University where he was an Honors student and a Lacrosse team member. Today he calls Newport Beach, CA home.
John is our Operations Advisor at Royce GC. He comes from a long line of construction background. He was a superintendent at Koll Construction for 13 years, and then was the VP at Shaw & Sons Concrete Contractors for 23 years. He advises on all aspects of our operations to keep the system, people and business functioning at a high level at all times.
